Love Story

Love is well, difficult. Love is no picnic as what they always say in books and movies. It's not all sunshine, long walks under the moon and romantic dates in some elegant restaurant. It's all about waiting, anticipating, and feeling. This is a real story of what a real love story should be.

Honestly, I always read crappy love stories but I always blame them for what they make us believe. They always leave women wishing for something like that. For the exact same thing that they portray. The moment we stop reading that story or the moment we walk out of the cinema, we always have that hidden wish back in our heads to meet that sweet and romantic guy who went down on his knees for his girl. But that's not always the case, right?

Well, that's actually a no. We always find ourselves whining why we can't have that fairy tale shit we just read or watched. Then when we find the one for us, we compare our relationship to those crappy stories and movies we just read or watched.

But the real story is: love is not just about fate putting two people together. It's about the moment we miss and the moments we want to have. It's not always like the movies and the books. It's about two people creating their own story to tell their children and grandchildren not mimicking whatever the content of other stories. Not all of those are true. Considering living happily ever after. It's about putting aside what should be and let things unfold as they should.

Perfect Scar

A lot of people nowadays lack self-trust and self-esteem. A little bullying and a little insult and they start thinking that others are too good and they freaking suck.

This can serve as an advice or a note for people who suffered from bullying. Just like a line from the song "I'm Not Perfect" - "I'm not perfect, but I'm still beautiful, No one can bring me down, not even you." Everyone should know that. Everyone should believe that.

Everyone needs to understand the concept that nobody's perfect. Everyone's created in their own weird way. Somehow, that makes us all unique and different from each other in a good way. =)

Most girls today are very conscious.. Girls who have scars tend to hide them. They search every possible way to cure and hide them. But that's not it. Whatever you do to try and hide it, you can just hide that scar by the looks but it will never fade from your memory. So just wear your scars proudly and don't be afraid of people judging you.

Slot Machine

You learn a lot about life playing the slots. You press a few buttons, twist a few arms then hope that you're gonna win. Sometimes you lose a little, sometimes you lose a lot. Some people think they know how to beat the system, but they don't. They can't beat the slots.

But really, why do people play slots?

It's simply because sometimes you win big. Everyone wins sometime, but they don't know how to quit when they are ahead. Then you just realize that you end up with nothing. You get everything and before you even know it, you end up with nothing again..

Some people flirt from one slot machine to another-oh this one's not paying out, so I'll try another. And another. And another. And another. And then none of them pay out and you want to go back to the first one, but it's already too late. Someone already got the jackpot ahead of you. Because good things-come to those who wait.

You got to find something for yourself. You work out what makes you happy and set yourself up in that business. And if you end up what a fella, then that's good.

So that's it.

Italianni's (LUCKY CHINATOWN MALL)

Last October 2, 2012 we ate at Italianni's, the branch located at Lucky Chinatown Mall. The food was delicious and tasty. We had a great time eating our dinner there.

After eating at Italianni's, my grandmother's ring was lost. We didn't exactly know where it was. We searched the car, her cabinets and even asked if the maids have seen it. But everybody said no.

But today, my uncle found it. He went to Italianni's to check if it was accidentally misplaced there. And he did found it there. The staffs of Italianni's kept it.

This kind of honesty is very rare. So for the one who found it, kept it and gave it back : A MILLION THANKS TO YOU! :)

To express my gratitude, I would like to recommend everyone to eat at Italianni's, Lucky Chinatown Mall branch. :)

Once again, THANK YOU to that person who kept that ring and gave it back.

For the Teachers

Well, it's teacher's day. So em gonna write for all the teachers. Honestly, I don't know how to start this. But here it goes--- Every year I witness the different ways the students show their gratitude to our beloved teachers. I always see students practicing before the big day just to show the teachers that they're very thankful for everything.

"You have made a difference, you have changed our minds
You have changed the world, one child at a time
You have always been there, in everything you do
I hope that you're as proud of me, as I am proud of you."

This is a chorus from a song I recently sang for the teachers. I chose this part from the song because it's a song that has a perfect message for all of the teachers.

To all the teachers: Thank you for always being there for us, for supporting us and patiently waiting for us to take the next step. Whenever we fall down, you always go out of your way to help us get up. THANK YOU for all the sacrifices and hardships. "SALUDO po ako sa inyo"! :))

God's Plan :)

As you can see I am a new blogger and the reason why I named my blog as "Twist of Fate" because for me the life of each individual is indeed a Twist of Fate. We encounter problems from time to time but mostly we manage to get out of it or solve it.

I had once felt that the destiny of each individual is being played. That moment was the time I lost my grandfather. He was sick and I did my very best to spend time with him. We played, chatted and even created a handshake that we do when we meet. It's been months since he left but I still remember clearly his voice. It was the sweetest. Every time I see him flash a smile I instantly forget everything that bothers me. He was like my best friend.

I witnessed with my bare eyes his sufferings before he passed away. He tried to fight just to live. He tried to gasp for air but with each and every time he struggled to do so, he failed.

Until now, I still can't believe what happened. But I know that God already planned everything and I believe that He will take care of my grandfather.:)
